-¡Tan sólo no me pidas que planche, que cocine o que haga la limpieza! -No me gusta cocinar, ni planchar, ni tampoco hacer la limpieza....-Odio las rutinas...como los horarios y cosas semejantes. -Yo odio las rutinas también.   -No me pidas que tenga hijos..¡Los odio! -Detesto a los niños yo también. ¡Son muy ruidosos y requieren mucho trabajo!  -¿Porqué nos casamos? ¿No es acaso un gran error? -Bueno tenemos muchas cosas en común querida. Además tu madre quiere librarse de ti y la mia librarse de mi...

 

 

 

Too and either     También y tampoco

 

 'Practice makes perfects' reads an old English saying: sometimes the only way to know how to use new words is by practising them.... This is the case with too and either and many other words that we will come across if we really want to make progress in our studies.

'La práctica hace al maestro'...nos dice un viejo proverbio inglés: a veces la única forma de saber como utilizar nuevas palabras es practicándolas...Es el caso de 'too' & ''either' y muchas otras palabras con las que nos toparemos si en verdad queremos progresar en nuestros estudios.

 

 

   Too is generally used with a positive sentence to means 'also.' La palabra 'too' se utiliza generalmente con una oración positiva y significa 'también.'
Examples     Ejemplos

'I am English.' 'I am English too.' -Soy inglés. -Soy inglés también.

'I like this music!' 'I like this music too...' -¡Me gusta esta música! -Me gusta también...

'They played well.' 'They played well too.' -Tocaron bien. -Tocaron bien también.
 

                                  

 

 

   On the other hand when we use 'either' as an adverb it means the opposite of also and too. With this sense we use it with negative sentences. En contraste cuando utilizamos 'either' como adverbio, lleva un significado opuesto a también. Con este sentido es utilizado en oraciones negativas.
Examples     Ejemplos

'I am not strong...' 'I am not strong either.' -No soy fuerte. No soy fuerte tampoco.

'He can't scuba dive.' 'I can't scuba dive either.' -No puede bucear. -No puedo bucear tampoco.

'I don't like coke.' 'I don't like it either.' -No me gusta la coca. No me gusta la coca tampoco.
