To make short questions follow this structure:

Aux verb: subject verb + -ing object

Am I reading a paper?

Are you listening to this man?

Is he playing golf?

Is she phoning her boyfriend?

Is it raining?

Are we listening to his explanation?

Are they greeting each other?

Para formular preguntas cortas siga esta estructura:

Verbo: Sujeto
verbo + ando, endo
objeto

¿Estoy (yo) leyendo un diario?

¿Estás (tu) escuchando a este hombre?

¿Está jugando al golf?

¿Está llamando a su novio?

¿Está lloviendo?

2 Wh questions

To make wh questions follow this structure:

A) To ask for very general actions or situations

Wh word + verb to be +subject do + ing?

What is he doing?

is she doing?

are they doing?

2 Preguntas wh

Para formular preguntas ''wh'' utiliza esta estructura:

A) Para preguntar por acciones o situaciones en general

¿Qué está haciendo? (él)

está haciendo? (ella)

están haciendo? (ellos)

B) Or for more detailed actions or situations:

Wh word + verb to be + subject verb + ing?

What is he cooking?

is she drawing?

are you carrying?

am I fishing?

are they talking about?

B) O para acciones o situaciones más detalladas:

¿Qué está cocinando? (él)

está dibujando? (ella)

estás llevando? (tu)

estoy pescando? (yo)

¿De qué están hablando? (ellos)
